VPHEP Pipalkoti: freeing the TBM

In 2021 the tunnel boring machine at VPHEP stuck fast in a fragile section of the HRT. Over a year and a half CPS drilled and grouted the sandy ground around it until the TBM could move again.

201010 km, 3.3 m diameter

Repair of a 10 km head race tunnel only 3.3 m across, with severe leakage. Machinery went in by hand through the few entry points.
